According to global researches, incorporating sustainable design strategies is an opportunity for improving operating efficiency and organizational performance. As integrated design gains momentum, a range of project goals have a higher rate of success and the old obstacles to sustainable design begin to dissolve. This also supports the positive impact of interior design on public health, safety and welfare.
The global influences are seen in almost every aspect of interior design. Although most people only see the resulting design feature, global design has roots in many years of historical reference.
