The 15th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2013) will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from 21st to 29th April, 2013. With the theme of "Innovation for Better Life", the show is expected to prove China's position as the most vibrant and promising automotive market in the Asia & world again.
Auto Shanghai Exhibition is organized by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai Sub–Council and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Automotive Sub–Council. Both Shanghai International Exhibition Co. Ltd. and Messe Muenchen International / IMAG Internationaler Messe- und Ausstellungsdienst GmbH are the co-organizers. The special supporter is the China Machinery Industry Federation, and the supporter is the Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE China).
With "Innovation for a Better Life" as the theme, Auto Shanghai 2013 will not only testify to the development of China's automobile Business industry, but showcase a better lifestyle brought about by green technology. Auto Shanghai Exhibition 2013 will continuously display the latest car models and technologies, and keep focusing on the latest hot topics currently trending in the global automobile market. Auto Shanghai Event is expected to occupy all 17 indoor tared exhibition halls (13 halls were used in 2011) and temporary outdoor trade exhibition halls, and the estimated show scale would reach 280,000 sqm. As most automobile makers prefer their new car releases to be on the first day of the exhibition, the organizer will arrange one media day (20th April). Subsequently, the exhibition dates will be increased by one day, from 21st to 29th April 2013 (21st and 22nd for professional visitors, and 23rd to 29th for the public), leaving visitors with more ample time.
