Three inter-governmental agreements have been signed between Burundi and China during a visit by Chinese Vice-Minister of Commerce Zhong Shan to the Central African country.
A Burundi government source said the agreements were signed in Bujumbura on Monday evening, the same day Zhong arrived for his two-day visit.
The agreements cover Burundi's infrastructure projects including a government building, a hydroelectric power station and Internet development.
The two delegations expressed satisfaction with cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, energy, transport, telecommunications, infrastructure, health and human resource training.
