He said the future expansion plan will be guided by how economies perform on several fronts. However, he said, most regions were growing the sectors of agriculture, mining, manufacturing, tourism among others.
“All these need air transport,” he said.
He did not however, give a timeline for the expansion program.
Meanwhile, he said customers for Air Uganda now have a chance to pay, book for their travel tickets online using the visa enabled cards, mobile money among others.
“Now customers don’t need to walk to our offices to pay, they can do this from anywhere they want,” he said, adding the launch of the solution was as a result of demand from customers. Details on how to transact, he said, are “steady” on their official website.
He said they have an internal monitoring system in which all online transactions are watched to ensure that only genuine ones are handled.
